During the Pleistocene epoch, fifteen thousand years ago, just before the end of the great Ice Age, two saber-toothed tigers and a singularity were born in a cave. Too different from the others, this singularity was banished from the group, deemed unfit for survival. Cast out into a hostile world, it would spend its existence searching for its place, adapting through time until the very end. A story of time and adaptation. A singularity.

LA COLLINE AUX CAILLOUX | 29′ | 2023
A small family of shrews made up of a grandmother, a mother, and her three children, lives by the stream. But one day, heavy rains fall, causing the old dam upstream to break. Luckily, the family escapes the worst, but their house is totally destroyed. Forced into exile, the little family then decides, on the advice of a lost old man, to go to Pebble Hill.

Tanuki and Kappa are two creatures from Japanese folklore who meet by the edge of a small stream. Both are rather pitiful souls who have seen better days, and somehow they find exactly what they didn’t know they were missing in each other.
It is the beginning of an unlikely friendship—one that will, despite themselves, sweep them into a delightfully chaotic adventure.
